AN INTRO:
Sulfuric acid is the most demanding acid in our daily world due its wide uses for e.g; as a dehydrating agent, as a catalyst in some of the reactions, as a oxidising agent, anti rusting agent and many more.
Peregrine Phillips, in 1831, invented a process to produce sulfuric acid industrially by first converting sulfur into sulfur dioxide and into sulfur trioxide. Sulfur trioxide is then further reacted to produce sulfuric acid.
